Gym UNIVA vox populi

All staff and students to UNIVA waited long enough for the inauguration of the gym Juan Plablo II or CEDEFI, and wanted to know the opinion of teachers, staff and students on the subject, and we did a small survey as shown here:

And after interviewing 100 people obtained the following results ...

1. Of the 100 respondents, only 19 say they knew exactly the date of inauguration of the gym, which according to reliable sources (Lucho) is May 8 this year, in just two weeks, and two weeks before the cultural week UNIVA.
2.Apparently the gym has been waiting for more than 70% of respondents are waiting  already the opening the gym, as can be seen from the following chart:

3.The opinions are divided as to the question of whether they believe that the membership of the gym will be charged directly to tuition.

4. But people prefer to charge a separate fee for the gym?  According to some teachers, the gym membership will be charged in addition to tuition, but this will not have a high price, some say that no more than $ 100 per month, and may be used by high school students, university, teachers and administrative staff.

5. Although we know that most of the students are excited about the upcoming opening of CEDEFI, they believe that the opening of the gym will motivate them to exercise?
6. Perhaps that only high school UNIVA students were interested  in this question, we know that since started the construction of the gym that will feature swimming pool, the swimming-formal which was taught in another swimming school  which had an agreement with UNIVA disappeared, and then last year we discovered that several cultural extracurriculars were removed from the list, and also that now we would count only  with the football selection and the marching band had disappeared. But students think that the opening of the gym would bring new extracurriculars?

Some of the extracurriculars
most requested are:

7. Some of the graduates also argue that they should have access to the gym, because it  was promised a long time ago , and it was assumed that the construccion would only take only eight months, considering that construction began on May 27, 2011 the delay is of more of a year and a half, but the staff UNIVA says...

8. But besides worrying  about the opening, we should also worry about the maintenance that  the gym should have.

9. For the placement of the first stone was counted with a big event where  only university directives had access, also  the sports teams such as volleyball, cheerleaders and tae kwon do and the representatives of school society, but for the inauguration, Would yo like a great event where students and teachers are invited?

10. Think it took a long time building it?

Considering the delay in the construction, people showed quite excited about the topic of the next inauguration of John Paul II gym or CEDEFI.

It is estimated that the investment was over 20 million dollars and covers over three thousand 228 square meters and will have two levels and pool.

The Comprehensive Physical Development Center "Juan Pablo II" will house areas for the practice of different sports, from swimming, synchronized swimming, volleyball, racquetball and squash.

The main structure of the complex has a steel three-pointed membrane, allowing natural light into the building to save energy, and also have easy access for people with disabilities.

The CEDEFI was named in honor of John Paul II's recent beatification .
