All the avenue
turns into a multicultural fair, we can see from hipsters to Tarahumaras
selling their crafts. More than a year
ago Chapu was one of my favorite places to hang out with family and friends,
because it was a very cool place rarely known by all the prole of Guadalajara,
but now…. everyone knows Chapultepec!
And know the avenue is full, and is a little bit difficult to see the stands,
but as the visitors grow, the concerts and the expositions.
- History:
In
1948, during the government of Jesus Gonzalez Gallo, urbanizing the area where
is located Chapultepec, which becomes avenue thanks to the work of architect
Jalisco Julio de la Peña. Today it is one of the most beautiful in the city,
Guadalajara and visited by tourists because of the many options and attractions
offered.
- Stands:
- Urban artists:
- Night life:
We
can see bars, restaurants, coffees, and placed to dance Latin rhythms, and now
with the new mall “Las Ramblas” we can have more options. Some examples could
be Bananas, Wings Army, El Rincon de los Rumberos, La estación de Lulio, IHOP
(lml) and the typical tacos between las
ramblas and LOB ( the boutique).
Chapu
is one of the favorite places for the Tapatios to visit in Saturday night in a
party plan, not only on Saturday but this is the day that is full.
